Tourism Kenora will provide free step on guides for your trip and a variety of specialized tour options.

The Mural Tour
Kenora has 20 murals located within the City. They each tell a rich tale of history and culture of the area. The guide will explain each mural in detail including message, artist’s vision and background on the artist itself.
The Historic Building Tour
A colourful tale of the turn of the century that includes information on Kenora’s border disputes, bank robbery, gold mines, forestry and fur trading.
The MS Kenora Lake Tour
Kenora has a lake tours available to bus tour groups. The MS Kenora can host 125 visitors and will take your group on a guided tour of the Lake of the Woods showcasing grandeur cottages, bald eagle nesting sites, abandoned gold mines and other exciting features.
Church Icon Tour
Kenora has a variety of unique churches in the area, many influenced by the Ukrainian culture of the area. Your group will be taken on a church icon tour and then treated to a traditional Ukrainian meal on site.
Customized Tours
Customized tours can be arranged in advance of your visit: Medicinal Plant Identification In The Forest, Birds Indigenous to Lake of the Woods, and many others.

Kenora and surrounding communities offer bus tours a unique “Northern Experience.” Our area is strategically located on the Trans Canada between Thunder Bay, Ontario and Winnipeg, Manitoba. Businesses in our area have joined forces to provide you with several attractive incentives and packages for your group.
